Nepal Festival in Brisbane 2022/23

Welcome all to the 6th Nepal Festival at King George Square Brisbane (13th November 2022) organised by NRNA Australia Queensland State Coordination Council .

Let’s join this mega event and support to Promote Nepal. This time Nepal Festival is themed as one county, many stories and proudly event partnered by ABC Global Education Consultancy and New Horizon College.

Nepalese Cultural Parade is being organized as a Part of Nepal Festival Queensland 2018 with an aim of showcasing rich Nepalese culture and tradition. We plan to have a numbered of ethnic and traditional costumes displayed and traditional dances performed during the parade on the same day of Nepal Festival at 10 am.

This is a great opportunity for every one of us. Let us come together and show our respect to our traditional and culture by participating in the parade. The event provides a rare opportunity to fulfil the responsibility of promoting our culture and hence the rich heritage of our motherland.

We would like to request all Nepalese living in different cities of Queensland, especially those living in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, and Sunshine Coast to participate in the parade with traditional customs, and playing traditional Nepalese music instruments such as Bansuri, panchay baja, murchunga, madal, sarangi or anything of similar sort, whenever possible.

So far, Laakhe Dance, which is a traditional form of dance very popular in different parts of Nepal, has been confirmed. We would like to request you all to consider performing other cultural dances such as dhime, chandi, deuda, jhijhiya, kauda, sorothi or anything of similar sort. This will provide great variety to the parade, and make it very attractive. We will try our best to provide you any sort of support that you might need.

Let’s join hands to promote our beloved culture and tradition by participating in Nepal Cultural Parade as a part of Nepal Festival 2022.

Lets promote Nepali culture, tourism products, Nepali products and Promote Nepali Tourism Industry in Nepal.
