The legendary band, Nepathya, is arguably the greatest of Nepal. It is a fan favorite for its folk melodies with the classic rock touch to it. They have been performing all over the world, much to the delight of many Nepalese people. Considering the love and support of Nepalese in Australia for Nepathya, Canberra’s very own 8848 Entertainment present to you a live Nepathya show here in Canberra on Friday 3rd February 2023 at Manning Clark Centre ANU, 2601 ACT.

Nepathya consists of six members, Amrit Gurung (Vocalist), Suraj Thapa (Keyboard), Subin Shakya (Bass Guitar), Dhurba Lama (Drums), Niraj Gurung (Lead Guitar) and Shanti Rayamajhi (Madal). Nepathya is a Nepalese folk rock band that formed in the early 1990’s. During the past 30 years of their existence, they have gained consistent popularity and social recognition—Nepathya has been the trend setters for the Nepalese community.
With over 45,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, 67 million views on YouTube and the title of Nepal’s first band to play in the UK in front of an 8000 strong crowd at Wembley Stadium, Nepathya are known as “the greatest band of Nepal”. They have been the pioneers to blend folk melodies into youth friendly pop & rock music.
